Je kunt niet alle sapjes gelijk maken, omdat je eerst de ingredienten moet kweken.
De ingredienten kun je ook niet allemaal gelijk kweken, omdat je eerst onderscheidingen moet halen. Die krijg je door veel te tuinieren.

Sommige mensen denken dat je ook pepers kunt kweken, dit is niet zo.
Paprika is in het Engels pepper, vandaar de verwarring.

The Sims 2 Money Making Cheats
"kaching" Adds §1000 to household funds (pronounced "ka-ching")
"motherlode" Adds §50000 to household funds (use 'crsr arrow up' key to repeat many times.)


The Sims 2 Play Modifying Cheats
"moveobjects on" move and delete objects no normally allowed (place objects in Sim's hands)
"moveobjects off" return "move and delete" restrictions to normal
"stretchskeleton (#)" makes your Sims taller or shorter (i.e. 2.0 double size, 0.5 half size, default 1)
"sethour (#)" changes the hour (# = 1-23) (is this working for anybody? it may be a hoax) ?
"aging off" turn all Sim aging off (see Night Life expansion cheats for individual control)
"aging on" turn all Sim aging back on
"faceBlendLimits off" no facial bounding limitations. Prevents corrections made for babies of parents with very different facial structures when combining parents in the family creator (maybe in game too)
"faceBlendLimits on" turns facial bounding limitations back on (discrepancy: in game help says "-on" & "-off")
"boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false" turn off "snap to grid" when moving objects. (Don't try to move doors and windows!)
"boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true" turn on "snap to grid" again.
"intprop censorgridsize (#)" Sets the grid size of the nude censor mosaic, (0= no censor, 1= 1 block, 3= 3x3)
(Warning: a high number can crash your computer.)
"boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" Allows shift clicking almost anything for extra actions. Used by programmers during the creation of the game, not really meant for play. You can adjust moods, relationships, wants, etc. (shift click the mailbox and select "Make all Happy" to max all mood bars.) See more here.
"boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false" Turn off the extra options. Always turn this off before saving and delete and spawn objects, as saving with it on may corrupt the saved game.



The Sims 2 Neighborhood Only Cheats
* *the following cheats only work while on the Neighborhood screen.*
"deleteallcharacters" deletes every Sim from the neighborhood
"terraintype temperate" Switches the current neighborhood to the "lush" terrain type
"terraintype desert" Switches the current neighborhood to the "desert" terrain type
"boolProp carsOnRight false" Cars drive on the left side of the road in neighborhood mode
"boolProp carsOnRight true" Cars drive on the right side of the road in neighborhood mode
"intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims (#)" set the number of guests that can come to parties, Max # is 8. (may slow your computer)

"slowMotion (#)" Make you set the game speed. (# = 0 to 8, 0 is normal)

"autopatch (on/off)" lets you know if there is a patch for the game

"boolProp displayPaths true" Show a line on the floor where the Sims intend to go
"boolProp displayPaths false" Stop showing the line on the floor



The Sims 2 Shortcut Parameters
How to use the following: Right click the shortcut used to run The Sims 2 and select properties, add these codes after the "Target" (you must use that icon to run the game, do not let the CD autorun.)

The Sims 2 Easter Eggs
Going beyond face altering limits:
Under "Modifiers" you can only move the slider to the end, yet you want the nose longer? Switch out of "Modifiers" to "Faces" and edit the eyes or any other object you have yet to edit, selecting one of the presets. (the picture above the slider) When you switch back to the nose, the slider will be in the middle again, yet the nose remains the previously selected length. Slide it to the end again making the nose longer. Repeat until the nose is as long as you want. (it works in both Sims 2 and the Body shop) Example Troll

Adding and extra floor to your house: (this will make you gasp, it's so easy)
To get an extra floor on top of your lot building, put up walls on the top floor, then somewhere temporarily add a dormer. Just sit the small roofed room on the floor, and notice the grid appears around the top of the walls. Now hit undo to take the dormer back off. The ability to use the 5th floor will remain with this lot. Now you can add a floor or roof the new level.
You can get 6 floors this way if you use the inside of the foundation as a floor. (see the Tower lot on my Sim page)

Import your own Painting:
To decorate your house with custom artwork from outside the game, first your Sim must have a creativity level of 5 and be able to paint a still life.

Have your Sim paint and a frame will appear that you can center on whatever you want to paint. If you want to paint a picture of something outside the Sims 2 game, just press "C" anywhere at this time. This will snap a picture of what the Sim intends to paint.
Use Alt + Tab to minimize the game. The picture you just took will usually be in the folder: "My Documents\EA\Sims2\Storytelling\Snapshot.bmp" replace that image with a .bmp file of the same size. (153x263)
Use Alt + Tab (un-minimize) to get back to your game and your sim will start painting your own custom picture.
Using this trick you can put pictures of your friends or family, web pictures, or anything else in your Sims 2 game.

The Sims 2 Exploit Tricks
Revert altered land back to it's original slope:
Ever delete a house with a basement and find your neighborhood now has a massive dent left in your once smooth ground? Make a new neighborhood with the same land form map, and place a lot on the piece of land you wish to revert. Move that new lot into the houses bin and switch back to the original neighborhood. Drag that lot over to the desired reversion point, and it will replace that insane hill that is impossible to smooth out.
You can also use this trick to copy small hills.



The Sims 2 Cheat Exploits
Get Deliveries Without Getting Out Of The House or paying for it:
Activate the cheat 'moveobjects on'. Then, call the pizza man or the grocery guy, When they arrive, go to buy mode before they get to the door. Snatch the delivery or pizza away from the guy and put it on the table or floor in the house. The guy will not ring the bell and will leave the way he came.

Remove your Sim's hair:
Activate the cheat 'moveobjects on'. Buy the Noodlesoother or Thinking Cap from the Aspirations Rewards. Get your Sim to put on the item. Then, go to Buy Mode and take off their caps, it may be difficult, but keep trying, eventually it will come off, with the hair too. As a result, your Sim will be bald!
To cancel this glitch, put the cap back on your Sim and have them remove the cap themselves.

Slowmotion 0-8 - 0 is normal speed and 8 is slower.

Bloom (r g b x) - Creates a filmic look in which everything's so bright it blurs together "r", "g," and "b" are color values (0-255) and "x" is the amount of blooming from 0 to 255.


vignette (centerx centery X) - Creates a filmic look in which a focal point is clear but everything around it is blurry.


filmgrain (0-1) - Creates a film graininess.


letterbox (0.0-0.4) - Creates a letterbox view of size specified.

boolprop renderOpaqueUI [true/false] - True=Removes transparency on control panel.


boolprop lotTerrainCanvas [true/false] - Not really sure. Grass turns blue.


boolprop displayLookAtBoxes [true/false] - True=blocks appear on sims faces and on parts where sims look at.


boolprop allObjectLightsOn [true/false] - True= Lights up objects continously instead of only when used, like fridges/tv's, etc.


floatprop particleDensity 1.000000 - Raise number to increase green damping on spoiled food.


boolprop lotInfoAdvancedMode [true/false] - True=In neighbourhood shows the lotinfo. Can also just click on the 'info' button on the lotinfo screen.

Nightlife Cheats

familyfunds [Familyname] # - Add or extract money for a chosen family. For example, "familyfunds Sims +50000" adds §50.000 to family Sims. -50000 extracts §50.000.


roofslopeangle [15-75] - Adjusts the slope angle on all roofs on a lot.


showHeadlines [on/off] - Makes all thought balloons invisible.

unlockCareerRewards - Unlocks all career rewards for selected Sim.


MaxMotives - Sets all needs for all Sims on the lot to full.


motiveDecay [on/off] - Turns natural need decay on or off.


aspirationPoints # - Adds the specified number of Aspiration points to selected Sim.


lockAspiration [on/off] - Freezes aspiration point decay for all Sims on the lot.


aspirationLevel [0-5] - Changes Sims' aspiration level. 0=lowest, 5=Platinum level.


agesimcheat [on/off] - Adds 'set age' to interaction menu. Any Sim you click on can be set to any age group.


setLotLightingFile [filename] - Change lighting by choosing an alternate lighting file. Original can be found in /Nightlife/TSData/Res/Lights. To restore use "setLotLightingFile clear".




Open For Business Cheats

AddneigbortoFamilycheat [on/off] - SHIFT + left click on an NPC to add one to the current household.


Forcetwins - With a pregnant Sim selected, using this cheat will transform the pregnancy into a twin birth.


Plumbbob toggle [on/off] - Makes the overhead plumb bob invisible.


Hold down Ctrl + Alt while an object is selected - Allows you to put as many items on a wall as you want, even if they overlap.


Sethour [0-23] - Sets the time of day .






Nieuwe cheats

PLATFORM: PC

Maar een keer je rekeningen betalen:
Betaal de eerste rekening niet voordat de postbode een nieuwe komt bezorgen. Als de bezorgingsvlag weer omhoog is, betaal dan de eerste rekeningen, hierdoor zullen geen rekeningen meer volgen.

Waardevolle inboedels verkopen:
Koop het schilderij van $ 7000 of het standbeeld van $ 12.000. Ga nu regelmatig naar deze inboedels kijken, hierdoor zal de waarde ervan stijgen, je kan ze dan later weer verkopen voor een goede prijs.

Een gratis tuinman + bewaking:
Als je wil dat je tuinman voor niets werk, moet je veel planten en bloemen in je huis en tuin plaatsen, de tuinman zal nu dag en nacht bezig zijn om alles te verzorgen.
Hierdoor zullen ook de inbrekers weg blijven omdat er constant iemand in en om het huis bezig is.

Wil je lekker griezelen?:
Lok je buren binnen en zet een muurtje om hun heen (zorg er wel voor dat niets anders in deze ruimte staat).
Deze persoon zal van honger en dorst omkomen, op den duur zal daar een grafsteen ontstaan.
Plaatst deze in je tuin, en s'nacht's zullen de geesten ronddwalen in en om je huis. GRIEZELIG.

Moordenaar spelen:
Wil je iemand vermoorden? Zorg dat deze persoon gaat zwemmen en haal de duikplank en trapjes weg, deze persoon zal dan verzuipen.


Naakte Sim:
Laat je Sim met de "move objects" code aan een douche nemen.
Ga als je Sim in de douche staat naar de bouwmodus en verplaats de douche.
Nu staat je Sim naakt in de badkamer en zonder zo'n pixel schermpje.

Nooit meer afwassen:
Ook Sims laten vieze borden achter.
Zet de "move objects" truc weer aan, pak de borden op en delete ze.
Weg afwas!

Nooit meer de vuilnis wegbrengen:
Ga naar de bouwmodus en selecteer het handje (zorg wel dat je de "move objects" code hebt ingetypt).
Pak de vuilnisbak die buiten staat op en zet hem binnen.

Nooit meer rekeningen betalen:
Zorg dat de "move objects" code aanstaat.
Ga naar de bouwmodus en delete de mailbox.
Als je dit doet zullen er geen rekeningen meer met de post komen.
Een andere en betere manier is de rekeningen naar binnen brengen.
Ga dan naar bouwmodus en selecteer je rekeningen en delete ze.
Weg rekeningen.
Let op, als je geen mailbox hebt komt er ook geen krant en zullen je buren niet meer langskomen.
Zonder mailbox besta je dus niet.

De krant en post binnen bezorgd:
Zet je de mailbox met de "move objects" code in je huis neer en de krant en post zullen voortaan binnen bezorgd worden.

Snel geld:
Open de cheat mode en typ dan rosebud;: als code in.
Druk op Enter totdat "No such Cheat" begint te flikkeren.
Houdt de toets vast totdat het bedrag 99 miljoen is bereikt

99 buren:
Maak eerst een backup voordat je iets gaat veranderen.
Ga naar The Sims map en copieër de "TemplateUserData" bestand naar je Desktop.
Verander het bestand naar "UserData" opvolgend met een nummer van 6 tot 99 voor de corresponderende burenaantal.

Volle karaktertrekken:
Schep een Sim zonder karaktertrek (0 aardig, 0 actief enz.).
Maak voor hem/haar een geel drankje, en laat het opdrinken.
Jou Sim zal een persoonlijkheid hebben met alle karaktertrekjes van 10.






Cheats


CHEATS

Als je cheats wilt invoeren in De Sims 2, moet je eerst de opdrachtregel openen door gelijktijdig op Ctrl-Shift-c te drukken. Let erop dat je op de juiste plekken hoofdletters en kleine letters gebruikt voor de cheats. Dit zijn een paar van de cheats die je kunt gebruiken:

help: een lijst van alle cheats in het spel.

help [cheatnaam]: specifieke informatie over de betreffende cheat.

exit: het cheatvenster sluiten.

expand: het cheatvenster groter of kleiner te maken.

moveObjects on/off: heft de plaatsingsbeperking op voor alle objecten in de standen Kopen en Bouwen. Heft de beperkingen van het handje op voor objecten die in gebruik zijn of die je gewoonlijk niet kunt verplaatsen. Het is bekend dat er problemen kunnen ontstaan met spelelementen, de routes die kunnen worden afgelegd, verborgen objecten, enz. Denk eraan dat je met deze cheat objecten kunt verwijderen die je gewoonlijk niet zou kunnen verwijderen, zoals Sims, de brievenbus en de vuilnisbak. Als je deze objecten verwijdert, kun je ze nooit meer terugkrijgen, dus wees voorzichtig!

aging -on/off: voorkomt dat Sims ouder worden. Dit kan de zorgvuldig uitgebalanceerde gameplay verstoren en Pietje zal nooit volwassen worden, dus ga ook voorzichtig met deze cheat om.

autoPatch -on/off: met deze cheat kun je op de hoogte blijven van beschikbare updates voor De Sims 2. Kies voor 'autoPatch on' en ga naar Eigen spulletjes (het sneeuwvlokje op het besturingspaneel in de buurt). Als er een update is, wordt je gevraagd of je 'm wilt downloaden.

slowMotion [value]: voor de slowMotion-cheat moet je een waarde invullen voor de snelheid (bijvoorbeeld slowMotion 4). Deze waarde heeft een bereik van 0 tot 8, waarbij 0 normale snelheid is en 8 de langzaamste snelheid.

boolProp enablePostProcessing true/false: maakt het gebruik van postprocessing cheats mogelijk (zie verderop); erg handig om filmpjes te maken (ook verderop). Denk eraan dat je een videokaart nodig hebt die pixel shaders ondersteunt om deze cheat te kunnen gebruiken. Als je de cheat gebruikt terwijl je geen pixel shaders hebt, wordt het scherm waarschijnlijk gedeeltelijk zwart. Schakel de cheat uit om het beeld te herstellen. Als je deze cheat activeert en er wordt een filmpje afgespeeld, kun je ook tegen ongewenste grafische storingen aanlopen.

A lot of Flies in a Sim house can converge into a swarm that can actually kill a Teen, Adult or Elder Sim. 'Death By Flies'!
There are 9 ways a Sim can die: Old Age, Drowning, Electrocution, Burning, Starvation, Satellite, Death By Flies, Disease & Scared To Death.
